Jag’d Construction was established on April 15, 2005 by John N. Grillis and George E. Lyras.
Jag’d Construction’s resume has quickly grown with the completion of many diverse Industrial Painting Contracts including work on Bridges, Subway Stations and Water Treatment Plants.

Our accomplishment on each project has been a reference for the next and has quickly earned our successful name in the industry. Our commitment to the employment of exclusively skilled union painters has allowed us and will continue to allow us to provide a safe and quality product ahead of schedule to all of our clients.

It is the mission of the Jag’d Construction to provide its customers with the highest quality, cost effective services by complying with client specifications and work requirements.
Jag’d Construction values the safety of its employees and believes that a strong Health and Safety Program is one of the bases for productive painting contracting. Jag’d Construction recognizes and addresses the issues and concerns regarding the health and safety of its employees and the protection of the environment and has issued the programs that implement controls to help all employees follow regulations established by OSHA, EPA state and local governments.

Jag’d Construction has established a training program for all employees whereby protective guidelines are affirmed at hiring and reaffirmed yearly at the annual refresher course required by the company.

Bridge Renovation
Pressure washing, power tool cleaning, and painting of rusted areas of the bridge were performed to a satisfactory condition under the specification section.


Ferry Terminal
Commercial grade power tool cleaning. Steel coated with a three-coat paint system. The work was substantially and satisfactorily completed.


Suspended Work Platform
The installation of the platform and containment system, along with recoating about 200,000 square feet of structural steel over a waterway, was completed accident-free.
